What it's for
Wet clay is miserable to work with. It's heavy, sticky, and comes out of the ground in lumps that don't want to break apart. If you're making bricks, ceramics, or pottery, you can't use it like that. The moisture has to come down first.
This rotary dryer handles exactly that. Clay goes into a spinning drum where it gets lifted up and dropped through hot air. The heat does its job, the water leaves, and the material comes out dry and ready for the next step-brick pressing, ceramic mixing, whatever your process calls for.

Why it works
The lumps don't stay lumps
Inside the drum, the lifting plates are shaped to grab the clay, lift it, and let it crash down. That tumbling action breaks clumps apart while the drying happens. You don't end up with a hard dry crust on the outside and a wet core in the middle.
You control the final result
Drum speed and hot air temperature both adjust. Need the clay on the drier side? Turn things up. Want to leave a bit of moisture in it? Back off. The machine gives you room to work.

Q: The clay comes in big hard lumps. Do we need to crush it first?
If the lumps are too large, yes. A crusher ahead of the dryer makes the whole process more efficient. The clay dries more evenly, and the drum doesn't work as hard. We can match the right crusher to your line.
Q: What moisture level can the dried clay reach?
That's up to you. Most customers ask for somewhere between 5% and 15%. We'll set the dryer up to hit whatever target your production needs.
