Distillers grains go into animal feed because they still carry protein and nutrients. Crank the heat too high and you wreck that. This dryer runs at lower temperatures when it needs to. It dries without destroying what makes the grain worth money.

Fresh grain is sticky. It clumps. It wants to glue itself to the drum wall. The inside of this dryer is built to keep that from happening. The lifting plates are shaped for gooey organic material, so the grain keeps moving and breaking apart as it dries.

Q: Will drying ruin the nutritional value?
If you're making feed, we set the dryer to run low-temp. The grain dries, but the protein and nutrients stay intact.
Q: Fresh grains rot before we can dry them all. What do we do?
Don't let them pile up. Get them into the dryer as soon as they leave the process. If your output outpaces the dryer's capacity, we can add pre-processing gear to your line so nothing sits and spoils while it waits.
