Core Manufacturing Process for Rotary Industrial Dryers
‌Material Preparation and Cutting‌: High-quality carbon steel or stainless steel plates are selected and precisely cut according to design specifications using CNC plasma cutting machines. Dimensional tolerances for key components-such as the drum body and end caps-are kept within 1 mm, and plate edges are ground to remove burrs after cutting.

‌Plate Rolling and Welding‌: Steel plates are fed into a large plate-rolling machine to be formed into a cylinder. Longitudinal and circumferential seams are welded using automatic submerged-arc welding equipment; welds undergo X-ray inspection to ensure the absence of porosity or cracks, followed by an annealing process on the drum body to relieve internal stress.

‌Core Component Machining‌: Riding rings are made of forged steel; after turning and heat treatment, their surface hardness exceeds HRC45. The support roller bases and the gearbox are installed with precision alignment to ensure the drum's rotational runout remains under 0.5 mm.
‌Final Assembly and Commissioning‌: Components-including the drum body, drive system, lifting flights, and feed/discharge structures-are assembled into an integrated unit. A continuous no-load test run is then performed to calibrate key parameters such as rotational speed and concentricity, ensuring smooth, trouble-free operation.
