Core Mixing Components
The mixing drum is constructed from highly wear-resistant alloy steel plate; some models feature additional wear-resistant liners within the drum to withstand the long-term abrasive effects of hard materials like sand and aggregate.
Mixing blades are generally made from wear-resistant high-chromium alloy; their surfaces may be hard-faced with tungsten carbide to further enhance wear resistance, thereby significantly extending the service life of these critical mixing components.
